ABOUT THE PROJECT

The idea behind "Books for Bhutan: Enriching communities on both sides of the globe" is simply for children from two profoundly different communities to learn from each other. Through pen pals, presentations, donations, and lots and lots of pictures, the children of both Bhutan and the US will become more educated; while also becoming educators themselves. 

 

Also, a book drive will be run in the U.S. for the school in Bhutan. All the books will be donated to local schools and libraries in Bhutan, furthering the education of the Bhutanese children and community.
